Hello My name is Lois Wilson, I've worked at WDFB since December of 1986. I was born and raised in Somerset, Kentucky. I was raised in a Christian home and accepted Christ as my Savior as a teenager. I have worked and sung in Church all my life. I worked at Cowden's Manufacturing Company in Lancaster, Kentucky for 21 years and retired...so I thought! God had other plans, after three months I came to work at WDFB and that's been over 24 years.

I love my job, it's such a blessing to be able to hear all these great gospel songs and play the request of our listeners. There is a wonderful atmosphere that enables us all to work together to keep the gospel going out all around the world. I also enjoy talking with old friends and meeting new ones because of the ministry of WDFB.

Some of my responsibilities here at the station include deejaying from 5 to 9 AM daily and 12 to 3 PM, Monday through Wednesday. I also review new music before sending it on to Mildred. Sandy & I share the responsibility of keeping most of the daily programs updated.

 

I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.
